I like how the state of Virginia gave all the state employees election day off when L-J day was taken away from them. Government workers are now more likely to vote since they have the day off with pay. Government workers are much more likely to be democrats.
Most counties in the state follow the state holiday guidelines so that means most county employees are off on election day too. Even more democrat votes!
