Why do gay guys lisp?

I have a buddy who is gay but you'd never know it. He is masculine and talks like a man. Why do 99% of gay guys act feminine and talk with a lisp? You are genetically a guy. Fine, you like guys but why talk like a poor imitation of a woman? If guys like guys, wouldn't guys be attracted to the masculinity of guys? Is there something wrong with gay guys that they have to talk strange and prance around? You weren't born with that voice. It developed over time as a learned behavior. Who taught that behavior to you?
