So, is Trump impeached or not?

This post shows the fallacy of this entire effort. Other than about 20% of the democrat base, made up of the most rabid liberal parts, no one really cares about this and isn't following it.

I remember the Clinton impeachment. It was huge news at the time from what I recall (I was in college). I suspect the Nixon impeachment was also gripping the national news at the time. Now, the impeachment isn't even the top story most nights on the nightly news shows.

Sad!

Most Republicans don't seem to understand the difference between impeachment (which happens in the House) and trial (which happens in the Senate. This ignorance has caused some confusion.

Nope. No one is confused. What happens in the house is the political theater, what happens in the senate will be the real irrefutable truth. Nothing will happen because this is a big ol' nothing burger. Trump will then go on to get a second term.

He was impeached by the House and removed by the Senate but refuses to leave office. Bill Barr has cited the Comet Pizza rule as ample cause for the President to ignore Congress. Mike Pence was unavailable for comment as he was busy making hot pads out of human hair...
