Yeah...the next Congressional and Presidential elections ought to be very interesting. Republicans will be showing their true colors as they desperately try and hold onto their slowly dieing dogma.

First of all, quite a few minorities over the past two years have made it really easy to hate them. Look at the Black Panthers standing at election polling locations with weapons, and calling people "Crackers", yet they were never prosecuted (Because the AG is black, as are most of the Justice folks involved, and of course, yours truly in the WH). They completely got away with THEIR racist behavior and obvious hatred against white people, yet you know full well that if the roles were reversed, Yahoo News would be making a stink about it like they are here.

You also had a lot of racists like Farrakhan coming out, as well as Jeremiah Wright, Van Jones (Who were all then honored by the irrelevant NAACP), and so on, who vehemently supported Obama during his entire campaign, and during his tenure so far in office, yet they did everything short of "Lynching Whitey". I think it's about time that they take some of their own medicine for once, because the PC garbage in this country has begun to create a special privileged class of people who feel they can toss insults and false claims at others, yet the minute someone does the same to them, they cry foul, and play uber victim.

Also, Lewis has been acting like a nut lately, and he was one of the first idiots to claim that opposition to the HC bill, or opposition to Obama in general, was because of race and nothing more. He's a race baiter of the highest order, and he'll take anything he can to create more of a racial divide in his favor.

Not to mention that there were 40,000 Tea Party protestors there today, and even IF this story is true (Which is doubtful), then what are a handful of idiots out of that many people? We had 2,500 kids at my high school pep-rallies, and one time a half-dozen kids threw things and caused a raucous. Should the other 2,494 attendees be judged or condemned for the actions of those six?

You most likely missed the huge Tea Party rally back last Summer as well, when after the protest, they massed a crowd around the "Black Family Reunion" on the mall, and co-mingled with everyone there. Yeah, real racist. Btw, how likely would it ever be that people could host a "White Family Reunion" anywhere, without it being called "racist"?

If this is true, it is wrong and should be condemned. I do note, however, that it’s hearsay. With all video cameras around (from the press, as well as flip video cams and iphones) nobody has a video of this behavior? I’m skeptical.

***BREAKING NEWS***: Apparently the Capitol Police did find and arrest a KKK member on Capitol Hill today, but it was Senator Robert Byrd, so they let him go.

You have been listening to the fox "news" bobble heads too long. You have been convinced that small inconsequential events are something more then that. White racism however has been a force in this country since day 1...

I guess anything is possible but if this happened as he says there must have been a bunch of tv cameras and personal cell phones around to capture it. Let us know when the video is released.

I don't have time to tear into all of your diatribe, but I will correct your first claim. In fact, it was the Bush administration that made the decision to file a civil complaint instead of criminal charges against the Black Panthers in question. The Obama administration did not drop the civil case -- rather, the Justice Department "sought and obtained" the "maximum penalty" against one of the two individuals.

There were no "weapons;" one guy, who actually left by 11:00 AM, had a nightstick that he routinely carries for his job.

Calandro echoed other protesters who called the alleged slurs "lies" and blamed Democratic infiltrators for starting trouble. "Don't believe it," said the retired New York City cop. "I'm telling you. These are all family people here. Not one of those 'demonstration' crowds, and I've worked them all."

Also, from some other Tea Party participants:

Quote

Yesterday's rally was enthusiastic & had folks from all walks of life. I was there for hours walking around the event and didn't hear anything close to a racial slur. I don't think the crowd that I saw would have tolerated it. This article is a regrettable piece of "journalism" without intellectual integrity.

I was observing the rally yesterday, not the entire time I admit, and saw nothing described in this article. Sounds like the media and the dems are trying to sway public support of this grass roots fight against this horrible bill and take attention off the way they vote.

I walked past the anti war protest at the White House and that was a scary site.
