In this country, nobody really has to work. Lizzie was doing just fine not working before she went to prison and will do just fine without working while she is free.

Before Lizzie was locked up, she had been fired from a series of menial minimum wage subsistence jobs. People in those lines of work can--and often do--just as easily sit back and collect government benefits for the amount of change they bring in from working.

What's the difference? Technically the minimum wage in Virginia is $7.35 per hour. So even DOUBLE the minimum wage is still less than $15 per hour, which is still essentially poverty, below subsistence level in Northern Virginia.

Can't argue with you there lol. But funny enough lizzie was making $14 an hour at her last job. Now she makes the same as Miz on SSDI, $1,114.78 a month.

Lizzie isn't going back to prison or jail as long as she keeps her hands to herself. The new boyfriend is no nonsense about any of her past behavior and has her heavily medicated and in therapy.
