UPDATE: now it's easy as pie to use for anyone and everyone... that doesnt use internet explorer. ;)
UPDATE 2: bugfix, now executes on "load" event.
UPDATE 3: blocked images can now be shown and hidden in place. just click the link.
UPDATE 4: "UPDATE 2" broke adding/removing users. also, Off-Topic link can be added in the new "Global Settings" section
oh yes, at long last, a script that allows you to ignore the user of your choosing. additionally it lets to choose to hide pictures from anonymous users or new users. everything is optional and editable through the FU's "Control Panel" which is here: http://www.fairfaxunderground.com/forum/control.php?40
EFFECTS:
this script works with Google Chrome, Opera, Safari and Firefox. if you are using internet explorer, go cry because it's the only major browser that cant support this.

What would happen if I blocked myself? Or is there a way to block everyone? Kidding of course, thanks for making that available. I wonder if this is a way to build this into some kind of headgear or glasses set that makes people you specify invisible and inaudible to you.

I'm not a big fan of your past ignore scripts, but this one has potential if for no other reason than if more of the registered users could ignore (quit feeding) this recent onslaught of dummies, maybe they will starve for attention and go away.
This script seems more user friendly and has more options for more browsers.

fixed a bug and now images can be hidden and shown by clicking on the "WARNING: IMAGE FROM ANONYMOUS/NEW USER" text.

Well, from what I have seen so far, the script not only eliminates the need to avoid certain idiot posters, but also hides images from non-registered users and from newbie registered clowns.
This has the benefit of hiding shock images like our friend - the necrophilia dude.
Win win.

Well, from what I have seen so far, the script not only eliminates the need to avoid certain idiot posters, but also hides images from non-registered users and from newbie registered clowns.
This has the benefit of hiding shock images like our friend - the necrophilia dude.

It is one example (and one that I tested after installing the script). There are plenty of posts with innocuous titles but result in shock images or threads which start out normally and then are attacked.

I have an arrow button in the top left on my browser.
The arrow came standard on the browser. If I see a thread or image I don't like then I click on the arrow and it takes be back to the main thread.

You can use you arrow. Nobody is forcing you to use the script. This is really not that big of a deal - but you seem to want to make it a big deal for sake of Monday morning drama.

I am using the script now to block all the spam threads...
I just put "19" into the username field...
It's possible you'll block somebody else with 19 in their name... but that's their problem...
