Trump Transportation Secretary Chao Under Massive Investigation for Hundreds of Millions in Illegal Activities
It is against Federal Law for federal employees to use their public office for friends’ or relatives’ or personal private gain.
The House Oversight and Reform Committee is seeking documents from Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao as it investigates “troubling questions” into whether the Trump appointee and wife of Republican Senator and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell misused her high ranking White House Cabinet position for personal and family benefit to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.
House investigators are also examining Chao’s appearances with her father, James Chao, in interviews that featured the official U.S. Government Department of Transportation seal. Monday’s official letter alleges the Secretary Choa’s father bragged about his daughters influence as a Cabinet Level Official within the Trump Administration, her direct control over the United States Government and international trade negotiations with China over tariffs, and even boasted about his access to President Trump on Air Force One.
As seen in the pictures below, Chao used her position to help promote her family business at meetings with Chinese Government and Chinese State-owned Banks. She may have played a direct role in the Foremost Group securing hundreds of millions in loans from Chinese State-run Banks, to buy 6 expensive multi-million dollar Chinese made ships, that will ship billions of dollars in cheap counterfeit Chinese goods into the US economy - costing US workers jobs.
Chao says she has no ownership interest in her family Foremost Group business. But her father James Chao, has given millions and millions of dollars in the form of gifts to Chao and her husband, Republican Senator Mitch McConnell. Other Chao relatives, including a sister who serves as the company’s chief executive, have donated more than $1 million to McConnell’s reelection efforts.
