Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr.’s office recently sent a subpoena to Trump’s accounting firm seeking the last eight years of state and federal tax returns for Trump and his company, the Trump Organization, according to the person, who was not authorized to speak publicly about the matter and spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Vance, subpoenaed the Trump Organization last month for records related to payments former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen helped arrange to the porn actress Stormy Daniels after she claimed she had an affair with Trump.

Vance’s office declined to comment Monday on the tax return subpoenas, the news of which was first reported by The New York Times.

The accounting firm, Mazars USA, said in a statement that it “will respect the legal process and fully comply with its legal obligations.”

If Trump resigns and Pence becomes President, Pence can issue Trump a Presidential pardon. Don't think it will protect him from State level prosecution.

The question is did the foundation report everything correctly. It's implied that Trump use the Trump Foundation to funnel money between sham Delaware companies that Cohen helped to setup.

Did read Trump used donated Trump Charity money to procure a portrait of himself at the Trump Charity's Silent Auction. The Trump portrait bought with the Chairty's money apparently hangs in one of Trump's "private" country clubs.

There are numerous other allegations of self-dealing through the charity by various Trump family members.

Forensic accountants will find the skeletons and the bones, and they will get down into the DNA of who did what.
