President Donald Trump blamed energy-efficient lightbulbs for his orange appearance.
Speaking before a highly enthusiastic audience of Republican legislators in Baltimore on Thursday evening, Trump pushed his plan to eliminate environmentally friendly bulbs.
"The bulb that we're being forced to use, number one, to me, most importantly, the light's no good," Trump said in broken English. "I always look orange. And so do you! The light's the worst."
'Democrats are forcing us to use these stupid natural light bulbs to make Republicans literally look bad. I'm not orange. Anyone can see that. And they're saying orange is the new black. Even black people can see I'm not black. Black people love me by the way. Especially here in Baltimore. But they'll do anything to make us look bad. Enough already. The socialist light bulbs have gotta go. Gotta go! Gotta go people! So I declared it. I can do that. Because I'm President. I won. I won hugely. My crowds are the biggest ever. So Obama used the lightbulbs. Hillary tried using the lightbulbs. And I won anyway. Sorry lightbulbs. GONE!'
