Good article in the WaPo today about one of your representatives.
He really seems concerned about mankind and seems to take a vow of poverty seriously.
Isn't it weird that the very thing you believe in is based 100% on "faith"?
Is there any other thing (at least with this level of incredible claims balanced against no real evidence) that you believe in solely on "faith"?
No, saying you have faith that the sun will come up tomorrow is not the same thing. The sun coming up has been demonstrated with alarming consistency in the past.
So, basically somebody could write a book with claims of creating the world and everything in it including you, and this creator has seen everything and knows everything, fantastic claims of weird events, and fantastic miracles, and horrible afterlife if you don't believe in this book, and wonderful afterlife if you do believe, and blah blah blah...
And the only reason to believe in this book is "faith"?
Wouldn't go a great distance to meet this creator? No, not jesus, that is just one of the claims.
Make any sense to you?
So, why not believe ALL religions? Now, and in the past? They basically claim a lot of the same stuff, and are 100% reliant on faith.
