The plane had come in from Iraq. Abdul claimed "he was only trying to get overtime" (plane already had passengers IN it, could have taken off without detecting damage, his claim is automatically rejected).

Abdul injected liquid expanding foam into the ADM’s inlet sensor while the plain was on the runway with 150 passengers in it. (acoustic displacement measurement sensor helps monitor the plane’s “speed, pitch, wind pressure, to correct critical critical flight data". If the pilot had not noticed "something unusual", lack of ADM could definitely effect take-off: it could contribute to a STALL or a problem compensating for cross-winds - the two main dangers of taking off.

Again, this was not done in the hangar pre-flight: it was done on the runway with passengers waiting for take-off.

The incident occurred July 17, 2019 and only just hit the news. I bet the passengers will be surprised - how many thousand passed through and are wondering if that was their flight?!

The complaint filed in federal court explains that Alani was seen on video driving a white pickup truck to the Target Aircraft, which was parked at Concourse D, Gate 49 on July 17, 2019. Alani accessed the navigation system for about seven minutes, from 9:28 until 9:35 a.m.

The un-official weather report for Miami International Airport says wind gusts were 17 mph and 10 mph for the day.

Notes Abdul used "a piece of foam glued into the sensor horn so that it couldn't come out". On a calm 10 mph miami day, without the horn completely blocked - it could go un-noticed by the system by providing simply latent and muted readings not so noticed on the ground: until later when providing false readings of vast changes in upper atmosphere at 300 mph with an aircraft turning into v. out of the wind.

They are infact "lucky" - although a good pilot would know what to do in the even the pilot did understand that particular sensor was not performing well - there are many many sensors in an aircraft and he might not know how it effected his readings unless warned.

if an Abdul can do that to an airplane

think of what an Abdul could do if he were appointed to office by dems (county exec, state exec, fed worker)

USA laws do not reach to the realm of protecting citizens from inside attacks - or rather they do but Harvard has been teaching AGAINST any legal action protecting people from it: since about 1800.
