Aside form his mancrush on Hugo Chavez, check out what he says about reporters at around 2:00. Prison terms for reporters that call Chavez a dictator?

His point about the press is well founded...the MSM did a poor job of reporiting leading up to the Iraq Invasion. They were totally enthralled with being embedded into the military. MSM coverage of Central and South American issues is just about as indepth. If it doesnt involve the so called was on drugs issues really dont get covered..and when they are it is always with a bias pro the wealthy classes and against indiginous leaders.

What Penn said about Chavez being elected is 100% true..a comparison between him and Hitler is ridiculous. Hitler was elected once..and then disbanned elections. Simpleton analyses of South AMerica based upon such criticisms is what the likes of Fox "news" bobble heads are capable of.

Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany as part of a political deal then usurped the presidency. He wasn't elected.

He came into power as a result of Germany's parliamentary election process. Hindenberg appointed him Chancellor because the Nazis controlled enough of the parliament to force a coalition government to be formed.

Look at Penn's face getting red as a cherry during the interview, and listen to how difficult it is for him to not stutter, and stammer like an idiot. Wtf would people cheer that ass clown? His comments about the US MIL in Haiti was well deserved, but his marriage to Chavez has twisted his brain.

Fine..the point is comparing Hitler's rise to power to Chavez's is ridiculous. This country makes way to big a deal out of the duly elected Preisent of Venezuelia. He and every country in South America has every right to be apprehensive about the motivation of U.S. foreignh policy there. Our support of supposed "democratically" elected governments has caused nothing but the death of hundreds of thousands perhaps millions of indiginous people.
