Apply for jobs at other contractor organizations that have similar work to that you have been doing.

Most contractors have programs to help get people who are rifd jobs internally. Talk to HR.

Contractors don't get RIF'ed. Only feds get RIF'ed. You got let go by your company. Happens every day all over the place. That's one of the downsides of being a contractor. Less than 1% of feds will ever be fired or forced out. To contractors, it will happen, even to the best of them.

Contractors get RIF’d if they are on certain types of contracts. Keep in mind, just cause you get rifd doesn’t mean you’re out the door. Some contractors give give their employees rifs as a precaution in case they don’t win the recompete.

Nope. RIF is a government term for Reduction In Force and is a process of laying off federal (military or civilian) employees. Not keeping contractors isn't RIF'ing.
