the seaweed above may be due to sewage/trash dumped in the Gulf of Texas, maybe not. it could be an algae that "likes" the problemed environment that the BP oil spill created (note images begin in 2011, BP oil spill was 2010). also not shown is areas of the gulf have become "dead", no oxygen. This had been a worry and issue before 2010 - but became a large realty since.

But the seaweed problem below was CONFIRMED to be german gmbH company genetic experiment caused natural disaster ... (gmbH? ok but we're still going to kill you)

the above is a picture of harmless seaweed in a tank. the german company release a genetically engineered disease seaweed INTO THE OCEANS - it DESTROYED THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA WILDLIFE before being identified and got to California,USA and elsewhere too (the "MED" used to be a wonder for scuba divers of natural beauty and diversity: ALL DESTORYED now, only old photos exist for millenials to look at)

California took measures to kill off the a bay where it began to grow (at expense) and they report they continue to (using more money) manage it

sea Weeds are known to travel great distances in warm water, or simply get attached to the millions of ocean going ships that stop at any port in the world. THey blanket cover the ocean floor killing all life there - starving the whole food chain.

DO A DOUBLE TAKE ON THE FIRST PHOTO

how big is that algae spread and how "deep does it run" (sea depth)

it's bigger than most countries are

no one fishes anywhere above there anymore - anyone's bet how many fishing industries are gone

IF THAT HAPPENED in the pacific the grocery stores could suddenly run out of FISH - the biggest ships and catches troll a surprisingly small area of the pacific (as opposed to the whole ocean equally)

i don't have to choose "no death penalty for irresponsible researchers"

infact - i think such researchers should be watched and hit with a hammer if they damage huge parts of the planet for a little pet store profit
