Like any sport, there will always be people who cannot get enough of it. I usually don’t mind it. As long as I don’t have to watch boring ball aka baseball year round, I’m good.

I don’t know much about basketball, are all the players in summer league all from NBA or it’d mainly the like the rookies and drafted players?

Summer league is a way for the less productive team members to improve their skills. Those that can pick the most cotton take the Summer off and these guys try to get their production up so they can join them in the fields during the real harvest.
