With President Donald Trump caught up in a child sex trafficking scandal, the White House is terrified that House Democrats will hold public hearings where television stations would broadcast heartbreaking stories from victims.
Trump is a longtime friend of Epstein and Trump’s Labor Secretary, Alex Acosta, was the prosecutor criticized for Epstein giving a sweetheart deal.
“Officials at the White House, which has not made any public statements about the Epstein indictment, are nervous that Democrats will encourage women allegedly abused by Epstein to testify publicly before Congress, drawing attention to Acosta’s work on the plea deal, according to current and former administration officials,”

Trump is clean on this. Fusion GPS tried hard to find a connection and everything they came up with was exculpatory.
If there was even a hint of Trump involvement, this story would be the lead on every newscast. Instead, it's buried in the 3rd segment and is getting about 15 seconds of coverage.

Nanny Pelosi had better be careful about where she is pointing fingers by calling for Acosta's resignation. Sen. Bob Menendez has already almost had his ass handed to him by a court of law and has had his name linked to Epstein for the past 15 years. It would not be a good thing for him to be charged with a crime again which would raise calls for his resignation. This time even the people of NJ may listen to the demands and call for his resignation.
