Doing some research on my family. Im 98% English ancestry and most of my direct relatives arrived in the Americas by 1625-1638. My relatives have been here as long as almost any white European. Great right? No so much as I found out that my Great x5 Grandfather, who fought in the American Revolution, owned slaves 20-40 of them.

I dont think they were traders per se - I think they just bought and owned dark skinned human beings. Im sure they maybe traded a few used slaves but they owned them to work farmland.

My great grand mother had 15 brothers and sisters. That was the slave labor for the farm.

My ancestors in both 13th century Germany and 20th century third Reich were THIS close to completely exterminating the plague that is Judaism.
