Attendees were clearly enthralled at meade's virtuosity. Passsers-by would stop and stand transfixed as they were drawn into meade's unique, folksy and yet compelling compositions. the plaintive pleas of the song 'Internet Stalker" had concert goers riveted, and the pererennial favorites "HipsTers Ruin Everything" and "Sweet Tea" brought down the house, after which meade performed THREE ENCORES; "Clean Living", "The Donald Trump Song", and of course a replay of "Sweet Tea".

Meade remained for several hours after his performance to chat amiably with his many new fans, who found him to be personable, witty, modest, and highly intelligent. All of Charleston can agree that they eagerly anticipate Meade's next appearance in their town.

I loved it

The less cynical and decidedly more conservative South Carolina, with its greater fondness for traditional genres of music, offers a far more receptive audience to meade.

Meade has two secret weapons to wow audiences: the "Chinese Thing" and "Moob Flexing". Every time Meade does these, the crowd goes wild!

When was the Charleston performance and what was the venue? How big was the audience? Thousands? Hundreds? Two old ladies? Tens of thousands?

Was there any local TV coverage? A elebrity performer like Meade Skelton coming to town would be a big deal for any city.

Meade Skeleton is too fat and lazy to leave the house now, much less go to South Carolina.

Meade is a National Treasure. A concert in Charleston would require months of planning the security and logistics. Bodyguards, an ample supply of enemas, and a full set of backup equipment are just the tip of the iceberg.

"Passsers-by" That says it all about Meade performances. If they stopped it certainly wasn't for the music. Meade usually scares everybody away from the area he is singing in.

Damn near caused a riot when he stated 'I am not here to play any jungle jive music'. Made a joke about 'too many negores around here' that didn't go over all too well......

He is making the right connections. It is all bout who you know. Charelston is and always has been the "creme of Virginian High society". Meade's old confidence is back.

It is entitled 'Jigaboo Junction', and I must say, the performance was cringeworthy. But I bet the official vid will do quite well on YouTube. There IS a certain market for that, but it's clearly not the Charleston market.

Unfortunately, meade did not do The Chinese Thing.

That's old material already; he needs to focus on something new and catchy. Maybe Blackface with a rendition of either Swanee or The Old Folks at Home. Something with a minstrel theme. That is not racist in my opinion, just good ole fashion Americana.

Sounds likes Meade.

Meade is going to tour all the East Coast Southern cities from D.C. To Miami in hopes that he can get a lot of the good colored folks of the region to enjoy his Negro friendly music!

You know Meade's music is awful when Trump supporters even bash the hell the out of him.

Nobody explained to him that everyone in the city is a Democrast.

I had a chance to see Meade and was not disappointed. He goes all out for his fan base.

Meade isn't shy about self-promotion. If Meade was pleasant to listen to, he would have become a "troubadour for trump" and had a cult following by now. Outside of us at FFXU, you can count Meade's followers on your fingers. Colby, whitedad etc.
