I don't think Meade will ever get to the point where he is bumming spare change outright.
I do see him busking with his autoharp, screeching out the greatest hits of Lawrence Welk and Anita Bryant and complaining that people just don't know what good music is anymore for his lack of donations.
Actually, bumming spare change does sound a little more dignified way of begging than Meade playing his 3-sigma God awful music.

Normally, I would say to a wannabe be musician "don't quit your day job", but Meade has never really had one of those either.

Whether he truly believes that his god has a plan for him, or whether that is simply his excuse, only Meade knows.
It is very evident that someday even his god will abandom him. Whether he then becomes a homeless man begging for change, or a ward of the state, is anyone's guess. But the train is going high speed in that direction.

It is ten of eight in the morning, and I am on the commuter bus to DC. Meade will sleep to 10:00 AM, eat breakfast, tinker around until one PM, have lunch, and declare it the weekend around 2:30 PM. Yup, I am jealous, now, but I won't be once I get home to my wife, kids, and huse.

I actually take pride in mowing MY LAWN and other upkeep on MY PROPERTY. It doesn't negate the pain in the ass part but it does outshine it.
Completely different than mowing my parent's lawn as a kid.
It doesn't seem like Meade did a lot of mowing his parent's lawn as a child either.
