This doesn't come as a surprise... John was probably the most decent candidate that ran for the GOP in 2016.

But, the GOP is a whole new animal. Watch them attack Kasich, Romney, McCain, and pretty-much anyone else who stands in favor of a functional Democracy.

I'm darkly curious to see where this is going, but terrified at the same time.

Bill Weld already announced as a primary challenger for the Republican nomination. Hogan and Kasich are not fucking around either.

with Democrat candidate, the best they had was Michael Avanatti and that went to shit. Warren doesn't stand a snowball chance in hell of getting it as it stands, Bernie is delusional , even CNN acknowledges those facts. It has become what Republican will beat Trump which is AOK with me.

Funny. This "decent guy" who favors "functional democracy". During the primary it was his sincere desire that the GOP install him as their candidate with 5% support from the voters. He literally hoped that 95% of GOP voters would be told thanks for playing, but this "decent, democracy-loving" man will be your candidate. Yeah okay. We actually will never know. Kasich rapped out too early. He could have taken on trump and won handily if he stuck around. Republicans didn’t beat Hillary, the DNC beat her by shoving her down the electorates throats. Kasich could have beaten in the electoral college and the popular vote.
