The debate continued on Monday night about what to do with a Confederate statue that is currently in front of the Pittsboro courthouse.

More than 60 people signed up to speak to commissioners at a meeting held at the Chatham County Agriculture and Conference Center in Pittsboro. The meeting was attended by people on both sides of the debate.
