I lived in Brookline right behind BU and yes when you fuck them the girls cum loud.
It's the region' s party school.
NOTE that AOC wanted to do science but wasn't up to it.
She flopped as soon as she got into college, and quickly
moved onto soft subjects of economics. Which she alsp
obviously didn't understand.
She graduated with (only) Bachelor of Arts degree, a double-major in International Relations and Economics. (Apparently that means her degree was in "Believing in Communism and Hating White People".) No thesis is mentioned; most schools don't require a thesis for a mere BA. Just a "BA" in a soft bullshit topic from a party school. After failing out there in her chosen field and life's aspirations. Not even a Masters. OK, I'm not impressed.
She did write that one paper in high school, where she dosed worms
with antioxidants and claimed it extended their lives.
That was a trendy pseudo-scientific idea at the time.
Her research has since been debunked by actual scientists.
E.g.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19350411
and
https://royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/full/10.1098/rsbl.2013.0432
Those are published peer-reviewed scientific papers.
Her research was a high school science project that was never published.
At least, I can't find it or any reference to it anywhere.
Just the photo of her poster board.
(High schoolers do publish for real, but apparently not this time.)
Maybe she used a protocol that seemed plausible but faked the data.
Oe maybe the conclusions were obviously wrong but it was an "E" for effort
You know, the "hey, not bad for a teenage minority girl" kind of deal.
Anyway, the Intel (computer chip company) Science Fair gave her an award.
Her "research" was never used by anyone nor heard of ever again.
If it was "real", what happened? Don't say it was suppressed, because it
was evil old white men who gave her the nice prize.
She still tweets about her research claims and seems unaware it was B.S.

Funny nerd trivia: "AOC" stands for AntiOxidant Capacity!

While the people (ahem) at those "other schools" indeed look down no
BU as a party school, and it's not considered in the same universe
as MIT or Harvard (or even Tufts), it's not totally lame.
It might be ridiculous in terms of an undergraduate degree.
But I did take one science graduate course there and those
particular students in the class were very impressive.
Which explains why AOC couldn't even cut it in the baby classes there.
