Bad enough he gets cancelled, but they don't even tell him. They let him haul all his shit to the gig that night and then tell him BTW you're not going on. Real dick move.

I called the cafe earlier this week and they said there was no opening act for 'a day without love' and they rarely have opening acts at all. Add in the fact that the only place Meade was listed as playing there was Meade's own website.. One has to wonder if Meade made up the gig himself. Probably to get his dad off his back.

Like the time miz called meade and claimed to be Donald Trump inviting meade to perform at the White House Christmans Tree lighting ceremony?
Of perhaps meade was actually at the cafe inquiring about gigs, and some random smartass said he was the owner and sure meade could perform?

Meade's ego would have checked and rechecked the venue to make sure he got his booking listed.

That doesn't mean the band wouldn't be able to have an opening act in the whole set. It seems like they were doing a documentary thing.

Meade doesn't have that many fans anywhere. And the fans he does have, don't go coffee shops. They don't seem to like live music... or watch youtube videos..

One person called up Crossroads Cafe last week and there said there were no opening acts in general and that included the night Meade claimed he was the opening act.
One person emailed after the fact and ask when Meade was going to be rescheduled.
They didn't know what the inquirer was referring to,
Add that to the fact that the only place where it showed that Meade was scheduled was Meade's own website. He was never listed on the venue.

Not from here at least, we would have had a thread about that night.
