I thought my wife and I waited too long to have a kid, but man, a lot of those indicted are old fucks to have kids just starting college.....

50 something seems about right to have a kid in college. That means you had them in your 30s. That isn't unusual at all.

35 + 18 = 53 which would be a little on the older side of average for having kids.
Mid-30s is more the norm now than it was 20-30 years ago but these kids would be mid-20s so overall, yeah, a little older even for the time I'd say.

The 60+ definitely are on the older side.

BUT a lot of these cases happened years ago and it's not necessarily their first child so you have to factor that in.
