60 Minutes was the greatest indictment of today's Democrats. It ran in earnest till about 2005, after which it began to "fall apart". (it's still running - though i can't find it on COX CABLE. but in 2006 they were doing political slants without verifying facts)
Anyone who says jews are crooked didn't watch 60 Minutes. They were totally fair investigators who's nose for corruption went at least 20 years into the future in relevance.
Viewed today it would seem like a far far right conservative show. Back then it was probably considered "a little leaning toward Carter".

small example: sports crime, wages of sport figures and impact upon fans and cable tv costs. today? we got a guy just paid $60,000,000 because he was fired for refusing to play the game! 60 minutes called that outcome 20 years ago on their show. 20 years ahead of their time on that.
They should run re-runs of that show from 68 to '05.
Youtube carries drug dealers. Shouldn't youtube have to carry 60 Minutes back to 1968?

In the time they ran (1968 to 2005) they were journalistic magnificence.
THEY CHOSE MOVING TOPICS (such as en-masse lawsuits, corruption in pro sports, family tragedy, insurance scams, so much more)
THEY INVESTIGATED BOTH SIDES - and followed up on the facts spoken or investigated ON THE AIR. They left no question of fact un-answered: it was viewed on the show for everyone to see and not doubt. This was no quincy show - it was real life, people really squirming when presented with un-deniable facts by the investigators.
Not all stories, all fact shown, drew conclusion to one side innocent the other guilty. But many were indictments of things done that US courts simply refused to handle for, let's say, political reasons.
Today's judges should watch the show because those journalists knew more about fair investigation than today's judges do.
