Sports talk WJFK owner Entercom has signed a long-term contract extention with all four "Sports Junkies." John Auville, Eric Bickel, Jason Bishop, and John-Paul Flaim will remain on 106.7 The Fan weekdays from 5 AM to 10 AM. No word on the specific contract length or the dollar figures involved. "Since 1996, 'The Sports Junkies' have driven the sports conversation in Washington DC and we couldn't envision The Fan without them," says Phil Zachary, manager of Entercom's DC radio clusrer. "It's an honor and a privilege to talk sports with our friends every morning," adds Flaim. "We're so thankful to those that have supported us all of these years. After 23 years, we feel like we’re just hitting our stride." Plans will be announced later this month for the program to be broadcast beyond the DC market to affiliates across the Mid-Atlantic region.....

Oh really? Well, that is four more years I will not be listening to 106.7 You can tune in in 2019 and if your replace some names and dates, it sounds just like you are listening anytime since say 2007 or whenever they went to the full sports talk format. Where is Lurch lurking these days. Ashburn is no longer a white bastion of stay at home mom's like it was back in the day. Is he "hitting" all the H-1B wives who stay at home because they do not have the proper Visa's to work in the U.S. or is he getting into carne grasa?
