i agree the who sucked they need better bands to perform

I wish they'd have Killswitch Engage play.

No matter what, The Who was much better than the commercials this year. There were only one or two I even thought were passable.

It's a shame that, ever since the Janet Jackson indecent, only old, washed up bands have played at the super bowl.

I don't think The Who sucked. I just think they are so damn irrelevant in 2010. Why not have The Kinks play? Or Genesis? I mean, who made this call?

Your right about The Who.
The performance was good for a bunch of 70 year old guys and definitely better than the commercials, even though they kind of reminded me of the Night of the Living Dead.

The crowd I was with cackled like Hyenas at the stupid ass commercials. One lady noticed I wasn't laughing and asked me " You don't think that's funny?" I told her yes I thought they were hilarious, thats why I'm not laughing.I mean these people acted like they had some sort of freeking panic disorder responding to these stupid spots......Sit down, shut the fuck up and take some Paxil for crying out loud!

When did the talking baby thing come out anyway? Wasn't it in the 1980's? Jeezus give me a break!

I'm not sure why Intel spent millions on their spots. How many people felt the urge to go out and buy a handful Pentium processors after the game? Anyway I'm glad they did.

The same gal came up to me after the "House made of Budweiser Cans" commercial and began telling me how the commercial was produced. That they used 500,000 real cans that had to be all emptied and it was smelly blah, blah,blah whatever.... I tried to give her my best "freeking ponderous" look I could.

maybe next year they'll get Al Jolson. Seriously, this song is better than anything The Who ever did. Bands like The Who and the Stones always claim to be "inspired" by the old bluesmen and all this stuff that their music sounds nothing like....so why not cut out the middleman and just listen to some Howlin' Wolf?

My first musical instrument was an electric base. I was a huge fan of John Entwistle and Geddy Lee. I think The Real Me was probably one of Entwistle's best baselines and a great demonstration of how he was years ahead of his time...

Actually, after the Janet Jackson incident, they are looking for non-controversial first and recognizable second.

And the NFL did get a lot of backlash over the Who, so look for something squeaky clean next year. Garth Brooks is my guess.
