5 big mistakes Tourists make in Thailand
* never disrespect the king of thailand - you might be attacked or arrested
* try the street food: you can see them make it you can't see them make the restaurant food
* you may be approached by someone offering a time share lecture for pay or tell you you cannot go to a tourist site that is closed and you can follow them to the next best thing: THEY WILL ROB OR KILL YOU. NEVER GO WITH THEM
* The Tuk-Tuk scam. Thailand has very busy traffic and small vehicles can be dangerous. But some (not all) Tuk Tuk drivers are NOT good people and will make an excuse and "take you down a different road", where you will be urged to buy a suit and gems (perhaps for your coffin trip home)
* there are many destinations in thailand to see, don't go to only one
* "fake goods" are illegal to leave with - they will be seized at the airport. buy locally made handmade goods
* deal only with free elephants, if the guide has a large metal hook do not tour or ride
------- other contributions (many left out) -----------
* all prostitutes are scammers, the good ones won't kill you - the others will - many are diseased
* NEVER “touch” any Thai Person that is new or a stranger - they might attack
* "vaping" is 10 years in prison without warning, but not smoking
* there are NO JUDGES in thailand - you are in prison but without trial
* Thai people will smile when happy, when insulted, when nervous, when nearly boiling-over. A smiling Thai is not a happy Thai person.
