Coal was dead years ago. Trump most likely got paid off to start the industry back up. I doubt Trump is stupid enough to think coal is a great industry.

Al Gore is big coal and lied to america with an "anti-fossile fuel / going green" talk - and Bill Clinton laughed as he did it.
Al Gore did fool many Americans - still some haven't heard or are in dis-belief when they are told the "global warming hero" is a big coal industry player.

Obama pushed penalties on the coal industry to help blacks using coal electricity that didnt' want to pay the bill (ie of WV coal): Maryland and D.C.
Obama built an FBI building near WV coal seam - sending illegal aliens and nigs as "agents".
Obama then filed hill bills to have EUROPEANS CONTROL WV COAL - saying WV was incappable of "using the resources wisely", and that a euro company would move in to take over. the FBI building would of course ENFORCE his edicts (or if all else failed, just spoon off WV coal money awright?)

granted, we'll always use a little bit in the steel industry, assuming trump doesn't ultimately manage to ruin the steel industry, but unless we can up our game with exports, US coal ming is on the outs.....
