Support them and learn as much as I could about it - I dont know jack shit about this sort of thing. The end game of teen parenting is of course setting them free into the world as good hardworking intelligent kind people - I hope to do that. I cannot say what kind of control or influence I have over their orientation or gender affiliation - my guess is pretty much zero influence.

you pay you do what you want - also agree. Question is what is your relationship and guidance between those times. It depends on the age of your child of course but its usually 13-17 this would come up while they are living with you. Again what would be 'not in my house?' They couldnt talk to you about it?
It seems like this is hitting very close to home for you. Are you currently struggling with this issue with your son?

when i was doing the psych med clinics, the instructor said that reinforcing mistaken beliefs for an insane patient was wrong
