Apple forums and sales are for telling people what their issue is and if they need repairs or not.

They aren't for politics.

This is why Privately Owned Companies that sell products can and will moderate (delete nonesense contect). that is well within the "telephone company / customer legal agreements". it's not a public chat site. it about the product (and should remain truthful but not overly so necessarily)

public access forum (facebook) is not within the legal agreement because they allow the general public access to chat. the telephone company agreement SPECIFICALLY spells out such sites and prohibits moderators from blocking persons from speaking (unless the person is: online stalking or hacking other users to blacklist them).

blacklisting is generally illegal. even email servers are "not allowed" to maintain blacklists (the rule is renegate servers must be found and shutdown, the IP remains useful - ie incase another internet use gets the IP and then has "issues")

Apple sites are about a great computer, not about who can use them or why. Therefore banning hate on Apple's forum is "ok" since it's not the right forum and prevents users having apple questions from finding what they're looking for.

Facebook cannot make the same claim.
