The Tea Baggers Convention
Date: February 04, 2010 03:33PM

The Tea Baggers are already showing signs of coming apart at the seams..

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/02/04/AR2010020402884.html?hpid=topnews

Anyone who was around in 1992 know who these people are. They are what's left of the Perotistas. And like the Perotistas, these guys will fly apart when they come to the realization that they don't actually stand for anything besides bitching about everything with no plans to fix any of it.

All you HopeyChangies can't comprehend what's coming your way. Get your HopeyChangie circles on your Prius bumpers and hang on to your votes.... The foundation is crashing down as we speak.

BTW - did you hear Obama mispronouncing "corpsman" with the "p" all over the place today? Liberal news medias would have been all over Bush for being illiterate but they hide it when Obama does it. Guess Obama's teleprompter made him do it.

I've seen it. It's call Ross Perot. And it cost the Republicans two elections. That's why the RNC is freaking out about this thing being out there without them.

That's why Obama said it that way? I don't believe it. But, he did assure me he would hold unemployment to under 8%. God, I wish Hillary was President.

This is called "Wishful Thinking"

They are trying to paint the "convention" Nashville as nothing more then some folks trying to capitalize on the movement. Even the folks they quoted in the article - they used their quotes to try and minimize the entire movement by making it sound like there is little coherent message or direction. Just another article by the WAPO to knock down anything that goes against the current "establishment".

$549 for a three day convention is really not that much - I kind of laugh at the WAPO for making it sound so expensive. If you tried to do this kind of convention in downtown DC it would cost a lot more then that - I have been to meetings in Florida and Baltimore where it was $750 for just two days. Good for them though in their continuing efforts to marginalize the opposition to bad policies.

That's right Reggie, they merely quoted the Memphis Tea Party head, the LEADER of the Tea Party Bus (raving lunatic Limbaugh-wanna-be Mark Williams), and Palin. Shame on them for manipulating quotes from low level Tea-Tards who can't communicate, right?

And, DARN THEM ALL TO HELL, they referenced Blackburn's and Bachmann's reasons for NOT attending or supporting the event, which (DAMMIT!) were centered on the for-profit nature of the "convention".

(Or, alternatively, that Palin was getting $100K to ramble for an hour, while they were getting squadoosh. Meowwwwwwwwwwwwwww.......)

Funny, too, since the "convention" is in Nashville, and Blackburn is a TENN Rep. Double meowwwwwwwwwwwwww......

Good for them though in their continuing

Don't be such a big fucking pussy. Whine, whine, whine. Pffffffffft.

I did LOL about Palin's $100K speech. 1100 tickets for dinner, $90 of which is Palin's fee. And her promise to "not benefit financially" from the event. And here I thought the Baggers recognized bullshit when they heard it. Or at least enjoy REALLY expensive lobster.

But of course, when dolts like Reggie read a critical article about their heroes, its really much more important to shoot the messenger. 'Cuz thats how ya ROLL, right, Reg-tard?

Go figure...one of the main organizer of the tea baggers is a rich lawyer who specializes in defending drunk drivers.

Judson Phillips Threw a Tea Party, and Trouble CameUpdated: 21 minutes ago
Print Text Size E-mail MoreLuke O'Brien

AOL News (Feb. 5) -- The Web site for Judson Phillips' Tennessee law firm makes an immediate impression. On the home page, the 50-year-old organizer of this weekend's National Tea Party convention -- by day an attorney for drunk drivers and practitioners of omnibus delinquency -- poses in an ill-fitting suit with a smirk and a paddle. Yes, a paddle: flat blade, laminated shaft, possibly spruce. "Up the creek?" the site asks. "Judson Wheeler Phillips can steer you through rough water." Lawyers are generally advised to forgo cornpone metaphor in their marketing pitches, but this one happens to be spot on.
