Would you name your child after a city?
Posted by: WTF? ()
Date: February 04, 2010 01:03PM

I find that if you name your daughter after a city (Savannah, Houston, etc), she will grow up to be a slut/stripper and if you name your son after a city (Richmond, Austin, Hampton, etc.) he will grow up to be a fag.

Why would you ever do that to a kid?

I think naming a kid after a city is better than naming a kid after an Indian tribe (especially if you aren't Native American).

Dakota, Cheyenne, Cherokee...just to name a few.

I would say yes because it is a city named after Alexander. It was a city long before it was a girl's name. However, Alexandra would not count in my book as it is the female form of Alexander.

What about Washington? It's a city named after an actual person anyhow (Of course it's a last name though).

I'm going to name my kids with good Irish/English names, none of this new age crap.

Wanna hear a crazy name? My friend in Minnesota knows a girl named "Reality". No kidding. I was imagining how she was named, and I pictured her father being present at her birth. She pops out, and he says: "DAMN, now that's reality!".
