No one should be spending more than 30k minimum on a car and you shouldn’t be buying new or leasing. Better to invest in real estate.

yea, no shit - cars are expensive. Try finding a family car for under 20k even used. New? 4 door sedan or miniwagon/hatchback is all you can get under 30k. As someone pointed out even if you could afford it its stupid to sink 40-60k in a rapidly depreciating asset.

I buy used, pay cash. I have only had 36 months of car payments in the last 29 years. If I couldnt diagnose and repair my cars Id have to buy newer.

Will this be the "new" preferred vehicle for black people to drive? Has the Escalade with 24" rims slipped into 2nd place?

Leasing is one of the dumbest things one can do when it comes to cars. Poor people think “ how much will I pay per month?”. The wealthy think “ how up front to pay it off?”.

Always have one of your companies lease your vehicles. Never buy or lease a vehicle yourself.

Unless you use the vehicle for 100% business the lease payments are taxible as income. So yea, if you own an extermination business and you drive to work then pick up your work van - business lease is an expense of the company. If you drive your vehicle to the ball game, your kids college and the grocery its no bueno for a writeoff.

I buddy of mine just got one for 48,000. It's a nice ride and worth every dollar.

Cars destroy the planet. They should all be banned.

Mostly depreciation. Car loses 10k in value driving it off the lot. After that it does better than some other cars.
