He actually has a house in a place called "Halfway." He used to lend his home to 'the aspiring chapter of the Green Party' for meetings, book talks, and such. He owns "The Rail Stop" restaurant. Sometimes, he attends the local festivals, though he does blend in well with the crowd and no one seems to be obnoxious about it.

Robert Duvall has to be about the classiest actor from Hollywood. All the others are just some real schmucks that cry if they can't make $20 million a movie. Some no-tallent, wanna-be actors and actresses making crappy movies.

Back on topic, I see Mr. Duvall turned 83 this year. Hopefully, he's up to a few more films before retiring.

One of my relatives asked him for his autograph, while he was at a restaurant eating dinner, and he refused. I don't blame him. I'm sure he gets bothered all of the time.

I can't imagine what it would be like to be out trying to run errands and take care of day to day stuff and have people bother you everywhere you go. I guess that's the price you pay for being famous.

I also can't understand what makes people approach actors and actresses. It's odd to me that we're such a me, me, me society. I'll never understand it.
