Like a peacock strutting his feathers, he arrogantly displayed his disdain for those who dare to disobey along with an almost shocking willingness to admit his belief in himself as the supreme leader.
After mocking the Supreme Court, our supreme leader, a Harvard trained attorney, held his imperious chin up in the air and like a greasy used car salesman, lied about the court's decision. This ruling does not reverse a century of law, as Obama stupidly announced to the world. It overturns Austin v. Michigan Chamber of Commerce, a case from 1990.

If you listen to what the legal experts are saying, they are making the point that this opens a huge loophole for foreign governments to influence American elections. All China has to do is become the largest stakeholder in a U.S. company, not even a majority owner, to control what that corporation says and does. Obama's critics on this issue are acting like simpletons to try to discredit Obama instead of looking at the reality of how these things work. It's not about contributions to individual candidates. It's about (hypothetically) China taking a 40% stake in Chrysler and then China usin Chrysler's ad budget to promote positions that benefit China at the expense of America.

Alias..you are a babe in the woods if you think the President's remarks are unprescedented...hell, FDR made a full frontal attack on his Supreme Court...he even tried to stack the Court by increasing the numbers of Justices so as to change the balance of power on the the Court. And there are plenty of other examples.
Was FDR justified? You bet he was...he had an obstructionist Court mired in the past. Staying on the Court's course of action would have emboldened the radical groups in this Country that were ready for a real change in government.
Was Obama justified? You bet he was! Each of the majority Justices testified during their confirmation hearings that they respected and understood the importance of prescedence. Their decision on the 2nd Amendment was primarily justified on the prescedence associated with private gun ownership in this country. Yet they easily over turned 100 years of prescedence. And for what? Does any one feel Corporations lack political influence in this country? Fuck no! This was an ideological decision by the Supreme Court. And this wont be the end of their biased re-engineeering of this Republic! There are federal laws restricting corporations from directly contributing to campaigns..with this recent decision there is no reason to think those laws wont be overturned as well!
Judge Alito owes the President..his fellow Justices an apology. He has shown himself to be an idealogue with a personal political agenda. The bottom line is that all Corporations are "foreign" when it comes to the Constitution..."We the People" means something..and the term "people" does not apply to a fictional person called a Corporation. A corporation is neither American or Foreign..it is not a citizen..cannot apply for citizenship...cannot take an oath of allegiance as every franchised immigrant is required to do. A Corporation has no requirment to defend the Constitution of the U.S. A Corporation has only one loyalty...to it's owners/stock holders.
I would love one of you pseudo Constitutionalists to explain to me what problem did this decision fix? Does anyone think Corporations played to little a role in politics prior to this decision? It has unleashed in an unprescedented manner the power of Corporations to buy access to TVs, newspapers...radio..the internet all for their foreign agenda

I like the font... It's very ornate and celestial. This celestial quality is only enhanced by the stroke and outer glow. I think the application of the layer effects was nicely done.
