Maybe a better way to explain it is that Trump supporters didnt care that he was lying - they wanted certainty. Trump provided black and white certainty about what they wanted. Wall - yes and very easy. Get rid of all immigrants - yes and easy. Repeal ACA and replace with magical coverage that was much better at no cost - yes and so easy.
He said these things that were obvious lies and his supporters love it. Do they care about objective fact - not really. When insurance companies were ripping every consumer off. Dropping people from their policies when they got expensive? Insurance companies were increasing your rates without notifying you?

Back when my monthly payment was 1/3 what it is now, I didn't have a $6,750 deductible + out of pocket costs, had better 90/10 coverage, and had doctors other than the third-worlders who take my shitty Obamacare insurance.

It's the 22nd healthcare PACKAG DEAL by Congress with (semi illegal) "health insurers" (which the gov is now one of)
The package includes FREE HEALTH INSURANCE FOR feds and gov workers at the expense of healthcare to the little people.
