This isn't a mere disagreement. This is a dispute about what the flag represents. You say it represents complete respect and homage at all times. Others say it represents the liberties and freedoms to protest and assemble grievances.

Not to mention kneeling is not a sign of disrespect. Its an internationally recognized sign of respect.

Again, this is what you conservaturds continue to fail to understand. Kneeling during the anthem has NEVER been about the players themselves expressing how "downtrodden THEY are". Part of the human experience, which the right shuns, is looking after the needs of your fellow human being.

There is a culture...not ALL police officers, but there is a culture that exists within the honorable and noble line of work called law enforcement where some officers think it's ok to treat non-whites worse than they would a white citizen...to include killing unarmed, unthreatening citizens. A person of any color pulls a gun on or makes a deadly force move on a law enforcement officer...yeah, you skin your smoke-wagon and cut that piece of shit down. That is not the scenario we are discussing here.

And to be clear, there are racists in all industries. The difference is when it's a police officer the consequences are far more impactful than the acts of a racist clerk down at the Winn Dixie.

It's never been about what the players themselves are dealing with. It's about the inequalities perpetrated consistently by a small group of white police officers against non-white citizens and the failures of jurisprudence to address those failures the same way they would a non-white killing a white law enforcement officer.

The NFL didn't give a shit until it starting cutting into profits. The only reason the NFL hasn't tanked is because they locked the TV networks into a $10 billion multi-year deal that keeps revenue flowing. But that's coming to an end in two years. You think the NFL is going to get another $10 billion deal?

The NFL is trying to limit the damage before that contract is up. It's too late. These nigs will cost the NFL $250,000,000/team in lost revenue on the next contract. The owners are sweating dollar signs and they have 1 year to turn it around - not realizing that it's already too late to do so.
