Required to convict after impeachment - that means 12 Republicans would have to vote with Dems. Not going to happen. Trump will finish his term. Probably better than pence anyway. But get used to the idea folks.

13 (only 49 dems).
There are probably at least 7 GOPers who would vote to convict. Don't see them picking up any more than that. If the GOP would let Trump get convicted, you can kiss their party goodbye, just like the Whigs.

Trump will not be indicted. Trump will not be impeached. Trump will not be re-elected.
A very damning report will be issued by the Special Prosecutor that spells out in detail all the lies and bullshit and misdeeds Trump and his cronies have unleashed upon America. It will be crystal clear that Trump obstructed justice and tried to collude with foreign Governments to swing the Presidential Election. It will be crystal clear that Russia did indeed launch a massive assault on our democracy to influence the election and public opinion.
At the end of the day it is a report. It will contain recommendations for action.
Republicans will just look the other way and pretend the report never happened.

There's teams of cross-eyed Liberal lawyers working on getting that law passed, I'm certain.
There are already many laws, programs and policies that discriminate against whites, notably hate crime laws.
