What's the commute from Falls Church to Gaithersburg MD like?

Have a potential job lined up in that direction. Google maps says the commute is about 35 minutes, but I'm not sure if it compensates for traffic. Is it bad going out that way?

Hahahahahaha. Good luck. Your life will suck.

No, it's not including traffic fuck ups. Rush hour it will take 35 minutes just to get to the bridge some days. That's not even considering major clusterfuck days.

Yes, it's "against traffic" but it's still a fucking mess.

Never again!

35 minutes?!?! Yeah...maybe at 3am. I would budget an hour and you might still be late on occasion. And you'll want to get a FlexPass EZPass for the really bad days...

I drove from Springfield to Gaithersburg for a year. I had to take Express Lanes most of the time. Luckily I was able to expense that or it would have been a show stopper.

35 min - thats a laugh. I doubt you could do that with no other cars on the road. It takes an hour to get from annandale to Bethesda on average. Can take 90 min. I would count on 70 min each way in rush hour.

In the express lanes it could be less than 35 min. Depends if you live close to an entrance/exit for the express lanes.
