Twelve partners from seven top-tier white-collar criminal defense attorneys turned down President Donald Trump before former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was brought on, the Boston Globe reported Saturday.

“Rudy Giuliani has always been available,” former California Roger Cossack suggested. “Hiring Rudy Giuliani only underlines Trump’s dilemma in finding a lawyer who will work for him.”

Trump thinks he's his own best lawyer, so he'll completely ignore the considered advice of counsel, then try and stiff them on their (admittedly substantial) bill.

He will pay. Trumptards are paying his legal fees. A third of all the funds he has on hand for his campaign has gone to his legal fees. If it was his own money then yet he wouldn't pay.

26 million or something for his inauguration went to a contract for a friend of Melania's for nothing. The Japanese government bought a whole building in Brooklyn from Kushner. They are cashing in and abusing donors and taxpayers every chance they get. It's a cesspool. Republicanism is the most vile thing you can imagine.

poster above is partially correct - Trump doesnt pay his debts including legal fees. Which of his former lawyers enjoys a better reputation by serving Trump? Im at a loss of an example. Cohen is his longest serving attorney and Cohens attorney told a judge Cohen is likely to be indicted in 60-90 days. What a mess.

Trump is going to appoint Rudy Giuliani to head the DOJ - after he fires Sessions, Rothenstien, and Mueller on Twitter.

Quite surprised Sean Hannity hasn't been hired as White House Communications Director yet. He is doing a better job at it already.

Imagine you are POTUS and the only lawyer you can get to work for you is someone who hasnt tried a case in 30 years! Rudi! Of all the white shoe firms in the USA you can only get a guy that is now a retired mayor and talking head.

Speaks volumes. If Matlock were alive he would have been first in line but Rudi got the nod.
