Congress can hire and fire FBI, it is a Congressional agency. Trump can only "over-reach" and fire Congressional persons if the country's national security is effected. Otherwise it is a matter disputed Constitutional power.

cops can't use any evidence from a fake warrant...so why is mueller not shut down already ?

All US intelligence agencies operate to harm the USA - that is what you have to believe. That and Trump's only motivations are selfless duty to the country. I dont think even very many of Trump supporters believe those things. End game on this has to be video of Trump saying or doing something very illegal. Be surprised if there isnt a highlight reel of Don in that regard.

Further more, since FBI's chief refused to "deal with McCabe", an investigation showing wrong-doing can lead to the United States Prosecutor firing him as a remedy / verdict of a court created within Congress. Not all Congressional "inquiries" are trial but some are. You have to read the fine print on who is the head, what authority, to know if any questions can lead to A VERDICT - or if it is all just "an inquiry before and without a trial" (which breaks rules of coming to a trial, but it's not against the rules for Congress to run inquiries - that's a little nebulous zone there in the law).
