Why sue?

Just send the feds out there to round up the fuckers...and don't tell anyone in CA that you're coming.

Sessions better get something done. Soon all he'll be doing is testifying and responding to subpoena.

Good question, why sue?

ICE gets warrants to (detain) foreigners who've been here longer than a vacation stay.

The ICE Judge apparently doesn't wish to warrant arrest politicians who stand in their way or otherwise tamper (doesn't see using ICE to do this is proper).

The proper way is to accuse, site the act, motive, harm done. Go to trial. Use police if the kind of settlement warrants it.

THAT's why.

You won't see that "process" for many illegals rounded up by ICE because they may not have resources to try each and every case. But they aren't from our country and don't "deserve a trial of whether they go back", and why is because the USA taxpayer is already burdened by needing ICE to begin with. VACA over.

* one california Congresswoman warned illegals before an ICE team arrived on a scene, endangering them. she did it on TV no less.

* the fact is ICE is the current law whether california voted for it or not: but california does have republican Congress persons who probably DID vote for it

* a foreigner "elected" telling everyone usa has free boarders and congress can do nothing about it: is simply a facist FOREIGN attempt to open USA's borders from within. there's nothing legitimate about it

usa is not well designed for "foreigner political attacks from within", nor foreigner takeover of (at first small) job and government sectors (ie, school contracts for maintenance)

due to Clinton "pussification of the USA" - citizens cannot act to do the law (area politicians will have them arrested) and Clinton followers refuse to do law they do anything they please: which means keeping in power using illegal votes and favors, using illegals to build their homes: stalking republicans to pay bills for rediculously conceived government jobs

Yes why didn't USA's chief Attorney set down the line on so many other major abuses, such as use of illegals (giveing them green cards to pad the ballot box with democrat votes) ??

Libby Schaaf warned illegals ICE was coming on TV (OBVIOUSLY illegal 2x over), and NOW ON TV she's doubling down: urging other california law makers it's time to stop doing anything Feds say that stateside California rich political families "don't prefer".

My guess is Jeff: thinks he has a clear case.

It is a passing contest. ICE could simply pick them up in jail with the proper warrants. They could sit outside the jail and wait for the illegals to be released. What the current administration wants is to make state officials call them in advance and hold them until ICE arrives, which may or may not happen.

is hopefully not going to be a kennith star prosecution, where at first country is convinced prosecution has a case, and later it turns out case is too weak (star's accusation clinton lied under oath, and his assertion presidency was at steak: both wrong)

This case I think is clear though. Federal law in place (yes, have borders). Enforcement officers placed at risk (warning enemy/perp of militia arrival) red handed (tv broadcast). Willingness and motive expressed after the fact on TV as well: she said something to effect of "not going to follow any non-democrat federal law, will continue to warn of ICE, ...". A clear case of re-enacting civil war "state's rights" sentiment AT THE COUNTY LEVEL (Libby Schaaf).

Oddly, Schaaf is not an illegal herself: possibly a `snowflake' installed by powerful asians to do their agenda. Oakland is an infamous town because it's where the made-in-taiwan shipping ports are (that's right, Cal didn't even make the import ports!!). Jean Quan, an asian, the last Oakland mayor of the shipping port town, gassed union protestors when they protested for better pay. No asian pay raise, go home sick with injuries. Motive: likely motive was time and money: asian imports were being held at port.

now note democrat DNC runs many unions in usa, threats workers to vote democrat (both with being fired, also THAT THEY WILL BE FOUND AND KILLED IF THEY DON'T VOTE DEMOCRAT (i'm an eye witness, in fairfax))

dems don't wan't "scabs" who break union lines and threaten workers to vote democrats mortally: BUT DEMS ALSO WANT PAY NEGOTIATED WITH TEAR GAS if it's a foreign interest, negotiated with minority lawsuits and police protection of protestors if it's MADE IN USA.

We get imports in fairfax from there. They come West to East over USA rail (ie, CSX). It actually "costs more" to go the other way because of (xxxxx). So if you make a cheap export your killed on shipping going East to West on the same rail. Interesting huh?

Like SHARON BULOVA, "no term limit" CHIEF OF FAIRFAX COUNTY SUPERVISOR BOARD, Schaaf worked for a wealthy South American just before "getting into office". (this part of a case likely would lead to charges that didn't stick, dnc slick)

Oakland Board Supervisor / county authority / money involved, UNION "leader / organizer" (meaning; he is on the take of money taken out of paychecks - which is NEVER spent helping or defending union employees - except to buy tear gas or hire lawyers to harass made-in-usa factories!:) Quite a feat - having access to other peoples paychecks, when he wasn't worth a damn as a worker! Old story: mob and union tend to go together for the reason of "money streams" and in-ability of workers to find/actuate accountability of these people.

De La Fuente was born in Mexico City, immigrated to California at the age of 21.

You ain't win a popular vote. You're not the will of the American people. You're the will of the 540 electoral votes.

Libby Schaaf is a County (supervisor / chief of board / head knocker)

THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, GOVERNOR Jerry Brown, could have reprimanded her under State Constitution. He did not.

WHY? Every USA State / Fed Constitution I know of forbids INNER GOVERNMENTS. That is: she is an elected in and for the State of California (there is no such thing as the government of Oakland except colloquially), the Governor is still her "boss".

The governor has deeper reach into non-elected officials than elected, but still has power. For example: Clerk of Court is "on the ballot", elected. (why not the judge?? who cares about the clerk?). HOWEVER: the State of California, who is headed by the gov and legislature, are RESPONSIBLE for the court system, all of it (same in VA). Also for voting in (perhaps out) County charters.

California dems are staying quite presenting a facade she worked alone.

But that's absurd: they all know, the are quite, are doing nothing.

Cal Gov are all in on it unless Jeff Sessions had previously filed a (stay order) to prevent them from taking any (legislative) action.

It will be interesting to see if State of Cal. will join Jeff Sessions (AG USA) or be Amicus curiae, be really quiet and hope the wind doesn't blow their way, or the opposite: join the suit with the defendant, Mrs. whoever of Oakland.

USA likely has no stare decis, especially not recent, for this - not since the civil war. There will be a STIFF issue if she's "named guilty" what penalty would be. Fired without retirement pay? Jailed? Dis-barred (or has she been already?)

I vote for a witch burning !

So Americans are following the Constitution of the USA since the popular vote isn't contested. That would be mob rule if it was and tyrannical.

Thank God for Americans.

If Jeff Sessions chooses ELEVATED CHARGES (more than neeed to restore ICE - a guilty act) upon her, he risks LOOSING THE CASE on inability to prove elevated charges.

He'd be a tool if he did that.

If he lowers the bar and achieves the future he seeks, he should easily win, and punishing the woman: secondary at the moment. The moment and future is County "execs" refusing to do anything Republican if they are Democrats.

Already California governor (mark levine show) argues "it's war on california we legislated differently".

Jeff Sessions has to decide if he'll only prosecute the guilty act of OBSTRUCTING AND ENDANGERING OFFICERS, or the whole basket of "denying the federally written law which charters ICE and federal immigration policy".

There's a big difference. One only has to prove for all she knew there was real danger and she neglected - and any California authorities "obstructing feds" might meet the same verdict.

The other is HARD TO PROVE. You can't prosecute california while suing her. California's "wrongdoing" is already well known and being fought in volleys of fake news and posturing on both sides, brandishing authority, etc.

But winning "just" a guilty act of "non-obstruction of federal agents" is a loss for Cal Dems and they are fighting it.

Because Republicans (in and outside of Cal), have a route to fight "open border, non-Constitution affiliated, area legislated policy", and how is by prosecuting those who "act to prevent" what was legislated by, in part, California Congress people.

The smart plan: prosecute only her for only her obstructive act. it was illegal for safety reasons and by federal law. her motive: already stated on tv.

a win for republicans because they can "fight for more" (perhaps loose) based on it. should theyt LOOSE by prosecuting with eleveated charges and failing: they'll miss opportunity (in a commonwealth law manner) to prosecute obstruction at all: there will be a past case to cite against it.
