Certainly not Meade himself. Furthermore, most people look at Meade and say "whatever he is doing is not working for him so why should anyone listen to it".

Richard Simmons and Jenny Craig have both helped a pant-load of people. Of course, those people had to do the work themselves, but both RS and JC are cited as inspirations of those who have actual results.
