Most of the world speaks English as a second language. It's the global language of business so it is taught in all 1st and 2nd world school systems. That's why most of the world is bilingual. The exception is the US and the UK, where English is the native language and some lower-2nd world and a lot of 3rd world shitholes, where going to school is a rarity anyway.

It teaches DOWN to the lowest common denominator.
It has become more concerned with social engineering to replace absentee parents and less concerned with teaching basic math, reading and history and critical thinking.

It's still in our law that loyalty to USA (it's people and freedom moreso than current politicians) is REQUIRED to maintain a citizenship

I was at a futsal tournament today in Manassas. The ref told a kid multiple times to back up 5 yards. The kid did not know English so he got a card. The entire team never spoke English, just Spanish. Probably all illegal aliens too. I'm glad my son's team kicked their ass.
