Christmas Decorations

With the holidays coming up, who are you when it comes to decorative lighting? Are you a "colored light person", or a "white light" person. For me the more colors, twinkling, and racing the better - it just seems more fun. And throw in a couple of those inflatable yard thingys (like my 8' Homer Simpson Santa) for good measure.

I'm a white light kinda guy, but I include one or two colored lights for diversity.

I think maybe Meph should clip a couple of the twinkle light sockets to the impostor Cobblesworth's nut sack and then set them on random light patterns.

Hmm, I guess someone wasn't looking forward to have roasted nuts for Christmas.

Someone once told me that if you see a house around Christmas time with all blue lights, then that means they are actually Jewish. I highly doubt this, but you never know.

Maybe you could buy him a rat-sized shotgun to fend off impostors...

I'm the White Light type of person. I really enjoy looking at a variety of decorations on houses, and the Color Lights are absolutely fun to see, but the White Lights simply look better on my house (We use Color Lights on the inside Tree though, and Red Berry looking lights upon our Fireplace Mantle.

One time when an individual living with us from Germany brought her family here, she drove past our house before turning around, and without even knowing that it was our house, her family was exclaiming that it was their favorite. Some homes down the street have professionals do their lights for thousands of dollars each year, and they even have giant nutcrackers in their windows, but I'm proud of doing ours our own.

I prefer white lights for outdoor lighting. But for trees, it depends on the ornaments. I decorate my tree with multi-colored lights because I have a wide variety of ornaments in different colors. If you have a theme tree - like all of your ornaments are silver or blue, then white lights usually work better.

Really? I would imagine every time you hear yourself speak it would be pretty unfunny.

I also like decorative lighting! And I'm talking about not only about Christmas, but about outdoor lighting in general. I have already decorated my patio with wonderful bulbs. By the way, I was lucky to find a great lantern for outdoor use that is perfect for every occasion. It comes with six festive designs that are easily changed out. So, I have the latern for Christmas. If someone is interested, it is possible to find out more about it on https://outdoormancave.com/best-decorative-lanterns-for-outdoor-use/

I like a mice tree with simple white lights, angels, ornaments with pictures of our daughter and us in them. A good wholesome family tree.
