Will evidence extracted by turture be permissible in civilian court?

Will the confessions/evidence extracted by torture to KSM be admissible in court when he has his trial for the 9/11 crimes? I'm curious on how this will play out.

They should just skip the trial already, and off the bastard.

i hate to agree with vince... but i do. What lets you KNOW these guys are guilty? because they've been arrested and charged with the crime? is that all it takes to be guilty now?

Because Sheikh Mohammad was in the video beheading Pearl, and he admitted to masterminding the 9/11 Attacks.

Terrorists all deserve to be shot on sight, it's plain and simple. This is a War, not a Criminal Law Enforcement Matter.

As for Vince, he would love China.

if thats the case, then the trial shouldnt take long at all. There is nothing to lose by taking them through our justice system.

thats funny ,because our military refused to classify terrorists as enemy combatants (atleast the terrorists at guantanamo bay anyways), which would deny them trial in military court.

it will either not be considered torture or the subsequent confirmed information will be used in it's place.

I know, it's somewhat confusing and "either/or" in nature. If we had declared the terrorists "POW's", then we could hold them indefinitely until the cessation of all hostilities. I'm assuming however that the waterboarding would become a real issue at that point, and on top of that, somewhere along the line Americans want to execute someone who we can officially declare responsible for 9/11.

I hope the Justice System does in fact work, but if we are to use past wars as examples of legal precedence, then anyone involved in warfare with us should be tried in a Military Tribunal. The Civilian Court is only being used so that Attorney General Holder, and thus POTUS Obama and his Administration, can declare any subsequent conviction(s) to be a triumph of their doing. I don't believe that playing political games with a terrorist is right, nor do I believe that the resulting attempt to re-precedence past matters is a good idea.

I also would like to see the Sheikh face execution by firing squad, with a hood over his head (Which is standard procedure anyhow). Any sort of "Lethal Injection" should be completely off the table, as it seems far too kind for such an evil individual.
