Well it looks like Meade Skelton has finally hit the big time. After putting up poster all over Richmond for his record release party, 6 people have now confirmed to show up. (My guess 6 is his Mom her friends and some people who sing in the church choir with him)

I hope folks will come to my record release party, because if they don't Ill be sad and blue. I worked very hard putting up posters all over Richmond. Ukrop's took it down several times, and I had to place it back up. How can they do that? I'm a loyal customer! Anyways, I sure have been running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to coordinate everything. Miss Bonnie at church is going to do all the planning for the catering of the event. Everyone from the band is bringing stuff too. According to Brian's face book poll, I got 20 "Nos", 9 maybes" and possibly 6 "yes" for attendance. So that's 20 people right there who have something better to do on Saturday November 14th than hear me sing . Oh the agony. Well that's the thanks I get for putting on a free show with food and drinks for their benefit! Now, they can at least work me in somehow. Or come in at the last moment to hear an encore of "Sweet Tea"? I'm very sorry that their intense social obligations are such that they can't come out to see me. I wonder what they would say if I were Jason Mraz. Would he get 5 people who say they might come to his record party ? I don't mean to sound bitter, but really. I think the whole city of Richmond should come.

I believe Meade's mom passed away some time ago, according to other posts made either by Meade or about him. I am amazed that no one caught this...I expected more from the OP, seeing as how everyone on here worships Meade.
