US is currently ranked 157th in the world with a deficit of almost 7% of GDP - why do so called Conservatives want to increase that deficit by over a Trillion over 10 years? How is this the GOP that shut the govt down multiple times over spending under Obama?

But of course recessions and jobs losses are in the interests of the rich. They keep wages down and the make the population content with bare minimums. They also devalue assets which can be bought up by people like Trump. Trump himself is quoted as saying hr makes all his money during recessions.
And of course you also have the concentration of wealth and acquisitions of corporations and banks that occur. Crooked banks like Wells Fargo and BOA consume excellent customer orientated banks like Wachovia was. And then get bailed out by the federal government.
