If you looked at the data none of the polls were predicting a runaway victory for Clinton. Most of the polls were saying Clinton would get less than 50% of the popular vote. Some were even predicting that Trump would win the popular vote. Many polls were showing that Florida, Pennsylvania and Michigan were going to be close, and some even had Trump ahead in those states. Wisconsin seems to be the only one they missed. Overall the data was there for all to see, but the analysts didn't want to believe it.

The best I ever had Clinton doing was 49%, and I backed down to 47-48% after the FBI decided to reopen the email case. I felt Trump would do better than his poll numbers were saying, had him at 45% on election day and said he would win Ohio. I had even said if they didn't call New Hampshire for Clinton when the polls closed, she was in trouble, and that is what happened. Much of that you can confirm if you look at my posts last year.

OK I admit I did think even with it close Clinton would prevail. Too many of the states in play had to break for Trump for me to see a Trump victory as a probable outcome. Even in my Trump wins scenarios I didn't have him winning Pennsylvania, and I was not aware that some west coast Democratic electors had already decided not to vote for Clinton. Still pretty fucking close to the final result for someone who had been devoting much of his attention to fighting against the Meals Tax.

Enron Ed is a crook. Virginia is great because it elects Democrats. The Republicans end up in federal prison.

I will chortle heartily after Northam hands Gillespie his ass in this election. Virginia is purple state transitioning to blue, and there's little any of you can do about it.
